The Beliefs
The Hindus believe that marriage is important and that is their moves into the second stage called Garahastha Ashram (householder stage). So, in that stage, they have to fulfill the duty and responsibility to continue their lineage and repay to the ancestors. They seen marriage as the right path towards spiritual growth and help them developing their souls.
The stage begins when a man and woman come together to marry. Marriage is treated like an institution and teaches the values of life. As Indian wedding in Malaysia is similar with Indian wedding in India itself, so they are a lots of similarities along the traditions, customs, and process.
